Upstream explores the Fraser River, one of British Columbia's main natural and industrial arteries. Captured on super 16mm and shown on two separate channels, the film begins at the mouth of the river and moves upstream, following its historical, industrial and ecological bends.

Commissioned by the City of Vancouver's public art series "Platforms: We Are Here, Live". Presented on the VanLive! video screen, at Robson and Granville, from March 7 through April 2nd 2022.
